Jon Huntsman Sr. Claims He’s Not Harry Reid’s Source, But Since You Mention It, He Really Thinks Mitt Romney Should Release His Taxes

Mormon businessman and philantropist Jon M. Huntsman Sr. (R) listens as his son Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman(not seen) announces the suspension of his campaign for the GOP presidential nomination January 16, 2012 and endorses Mitt Romney inside the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. AFP Photo/Paul J. Richards (Photo credit should read PAUL J. RICHARDS/AFP/Getty Images) Jon Huntsman Sr. listens to secrets.

While the buzz right now is that Jon Huntsman Sr. might be the Republican Bain investor who ratted out Mitt Romney to Harry Reid, the man himself now insists that ... he's not. Huntsman told the Plum Line's Greg Sargent that he has "absolutely no knowledge of Bain or Mitt Romney’s tax returns." But while he's on the subject, Mitt Romney is a deceptive monster and he hates the American people:

We do not think Huntsman wishes Romney well.

NYC Ironman Athletes Might Really Have to Swim Through Sh*t

GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA - APRIL 07: Competitor runs exits the water in the Open Men's Ironman during the 2011 Australian Surf Lifesaving Championships at Kurrawa Beach on April 7, 2011 in Gold Coast, Australia. (Photo by Matt Roberts/Getty Images) An athlete in much cleaner waters at Kurrawa Beach in Australia.

A sewer line break in Westchester Thursday caused a massive sewage discharge into the Hudson River, jeopardizing the swim leg of New York City's inaugural Ironman triathlon scheduled Saturday. “We’re not messing with water quality,” race organizer John Korff told Businessweek. “It is what it is — it’s either yes or no. It depends which way the water is flowing." But Thursday evening health officials said the Hudson River was likely "clean enough" following the sewage dump in Sleepy Hollow, about 20 miles north of the finish line for the 2.4 mile swim in the Hudson. Whatever unsanitary, possibly diseased things in the sewage have been chlorinated, "but it's still sewage, so we don't want anyone having direct contact," said county Health Department spokesman Heather McGill. Remarked 29-year-old (possible) participant Chris McCallum: “I was concerned enough about the water quality of the Hudson already."

David Petraeus Really, Really Doesn’t Want to Be Vice-President

Petraeus's face today, probably.

Matt Drudge is known to be tuned in to Romneyworld through Romney campaign manager Matt Rhoades, so whenever he has a scoop, people pay attention, even if that scoop seems absurd on its face. And today's scoop seems absurd on its face.

Now, don't get us wrong: David Petraeus would probably be an amazing, game-changing running mate. But there are two major reasons not to take the possibility seriously. The first is that Petraeus is currently the head of the C.I.A., and it's almost unthinkable that he would abruptly ditch such an important post and leave the agency in the lurch. The second problem is that no single person over the past few years has been quite as Shermanesque about ever running for office. Here is his response in March of 2010 to rumors that he may run for president:

"I will not, ever, run for political office, I can assure you." Here he is again on Meet the Press that August:

"I am not a politician, and I will never be, and I say that with absolute conviction." A few months ago, a CIA spokesperson took on the VP rumors directly:

And for what it's worth, NBC's Andrea Mitchell has her own sources, and they are laughing.

Maybe Romney does want Petraeus on his ticket, but he'd also probably love to have Ronald Reagan, and that scenario seems just about as likely.

Is This $100 Million Penthouse Really the City’s Most Expensive Apartment Ever?

Daaaaamn.

If your jaw has yet to rise from recent news that an 8,000-square-foot triplex in the CitySpire building on West 56th Street is asking a can't-even-imagine $100 million, we're not surprised. But consider this: It's not exactly the most expensive apartment this city has ever seen. On a price-per-square-foot basis, it's actually less spendy than penthouse 20 at 15 Central Park West, which sold in February for its full asking, $88 million. That translates to $13,048 per square foot. The West 56th Street listing, by comparison, is asking $12,500 per square foot.

And though the West 56th Street apartment is sumptuous — see more photos here — it's worth noting that it's only asking nine digits. It hasn't gotten it yet. The penthouse at the Christian de Portzamparc–designed One57 is supposedly in contract for between $90 million and $100 million and may reign supreme as the most expensive apartment when the dust settles.

So, is the $100 million asking price realistic for this new arrival on the market? Real estate database firm Streeteasy.com's vice-president of research, Sofia Song, says it's hard to say. "For the luxury market? I don't know. This is a whole other ballgame. It doesn't abide by market physics. This market has few constraints besides what's available right now." Then again, she adds: "Whether it's realistic or not, does it really matter? It really only matters to the people who can afford it."

Obama Really Didn’t Mean to Imply People Faint Because of His Greatness

At an event in Ohio today, someone fainted while President Obama was speaking, and he handled it with poise. "I'm sure they're okay. Sometimes folks faint because they've been standing too long," he said, and he would know, having spoken for millions of people, thousands of times, all around the world. "So we just need a paramedic right here in the front. They'll be okay, just give them room. That's all."

But then he added, "This happens to me all the time," to a laugh from the crowd, and you can literally see the panic wash over his face as he realizes he's said something that can be misinterpreted or taken out of context. After a brief pause, the president — thinking on his feet — threw in some self-deprecation: "It means I've been talking too long," he added. Good save! Now he's definitely safe.

Some People Really Hate Being Told to ‘Calm Down’

A group of eight female subway riders responded to a fellow passenger's request for them to "calm down" by doing the opposite and stabbing the 63-year-old man in the shoulder.

Proxy Server which really works

blocked-websites

This is one of best and working proxy sever without any glitches or advertisements. It works very well for blocked websites like orkut, facebook in school and colleges.

You must have read about thousands of proxy servers on the net but trust me this is the only one that really works.

This proxy server is developed by Amit Agrawal from labnol.org. He also gives you the detailed instructions on how to setup your own proxy server.

If you don't want to go into the details and just want to browser any blocked websites simply add this url before the url of the website you want to surf.

http://labnol-proxy-server.appspot.com/

For example you want to browse orkut.com using this proxy server simply add :

http://labnol-proxy-server.appspot.com/www.orkut.com

The main disadvantage of this proxy server is you wont be anonymous. Web servers will still be able to log your original IP address.

However on visiting http://labnol-proxy-server.appspot.com/www.whatismyip.com/ and http://www.whatismyip.com/ I came to know that both of them showing different IP address but don't know why the web servers still able to log my original IP address.

If anyone knows the reason behind it please feel free to post in comments.
