Download and Convert YouTube to iPad on Mac

YouTube.com is a great resource. YouTube allows users to freely upload, view, and even share video clips on your blog or web site. Now the new iPad is a much better device to videos on than any previous version of the iPod and iPhone, there are many people curious about how to get their YouTube video files into a format that the iPad can play. Thankfully, there are a slew of sites and software packages that will allow you to convert just about any video format to the H.264 mp4 format that iPad requires.

Here are the best solutions for converting YouTube video to iPad online as well as off. Some will convert video you have on your local Mac computer while others will only convert videos that you find online. In any case, you will wind up with a video file in the correct format for your iPad or other mobile device.

Online sites to easily download and convert YouTube for iPad

CatchYouTube is a free service that converts online videos to several formats including the MP4 format that you need for Apple devices. Simply paste the video URL from sites like YouTube, Google video, MetaCafe, etc. and selects the.mp4 output format.

While the service is extremely simple to use, it must be mentioned that it can take an eternity sometimes for this service to convert even the smallest video. Sometimes it just times out or fails without any explanations. Still, most of the time it will do the trick if you want to do a quick conversion or two. For more than a handful, you'll be better off with another solution that handles batch processing.

VideoDownloader is similar to CacthYouTube except it doesn't provide you with any output options. What you see is what you get when you download the video from the services they support: YouTube, Google, BlipTV, DailyMotion and a few others. So, if you can't download the video.mp4 format, you'll have to convert it with another separate utility which isn't a big deal or expense.

Movavi Online Convert is another online video converter that provides the unique ability to download and convert up to five different online videos as one video. You can add all of the URLs and the service will send you an email with a link to download when it's done. It could take a long time, so it's not good if you're in a hurry.

Software to batch download and convert YouTube for iPad

There are a few software that focus on downloading and converting YouTube videos on Mac. For example, there's the iFunia YouTube Converter for Mac that downloads YouTube videos and converts them to the appropriate iPad MPeg-4 H.264 format for you. The program also features a handy batch mode which allows you to download several YouTube videos at one time, making this process more efficient. Here are the easy steps for Mac users how to use the product.

Step 1. Launch and add YouTube URL to iFunia YouTube Downloader for Mac

Download iFunia YouTube Converter for Mac and open the tool. Click "Add URL" button to add YouTube URL. There is the field for a Video URL, the field for an output path. Simply copy-n-paste a YouTube or Google URL to the Video URL field. The URL looks like: http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=uTJAsZP2iLk. And then specify a directory on your computer to save the output FLV files. Note that you can only add one video URL at one time. But you're able to add multiple videos for download by repeating this step.

Step 2. Download YouTube videos

After the URLs have been added, click "Download" button and start your magic YouTube downloading now. The download timing depends on your internet boardband.

Step 3. Convert YouTube to iPad-ready format

After the download is complete, you can now convert them to the formats compatible with iPad. Choose the output format for your iPad from the "Profile" drop-down menu list and click "Convert" button. There are also various output settings like bitrate, channel, framerate, resolution, etc. Personally, I prefer to stick with the default profile because the good video and audio quality given by the program. You just have to pick and choose which profile you want to keep on your iPad. Play around and see which results you like best.

How to Copy YouTube Videos to iPad via iTunes

After converting all your YouTube FLV videos to the appropriate video format for your iPad, you'll need to store them on your computer in the right place so that iTunes can do its job and copy the videos to your device. The best thing to do is create a new folder on your system called, for example, iPad Videos, and copy the newly converted videos to that folder. You can also get into the habit of converting new videos straight to that folder to save steps and time later on.

Once you have your videos in one place, simply launch iTunes, click on the Movies icon and click the File menu. Select Add Folder to Library, and then select the new iPad Videos folder that you created. iTunes will then suck in all of the videos that it finds in that folder.

Click on your iPad under DEVICES and select the Video Tab. Then Enable the Sync Movies option, and select all of the videos that you want to copy to your iPad. You can pick and choose which ones you want at any time.

The next time you sync, all of the videos you selected will be copied to your iPad. You can view them by launching the iPod app on your iPad and selecting the video option.

Conclusion

This was just a sampling of the many cool tools out there that can help you download and convert YouTube FLV videos into a format that you can use on your iPad. In most cases, you can do so for free. However, some of the premium packages and services appear to be well worth their nominal fees when you consider everything they provide. In any case, you can enjoy any of your favorite YouTube videos on the new iPad. Well, if you wanna convert M2TS/MTS, MOD, TOD and HD or more to iPad supported formats, you can go to iFunia iPad video converter, which my friend highly recommended to me.

YouTube Friends And Subscribers - YouTube Will Love You!

When you put a video up on YouTube, the main thing you want is lots of visitors and comments, right? Yes you want lots of visitors, but far more powerful are YouTube friends and YouTube subscribers. And YouTube will love you if you have loads of these!

YouTube Friends

When someone friends you on YouTube, it's like them giving your videos a vote of approval. Something that most people forget, is that you tube is a social media website. That means YouTube looks extremely favorably on channels that have a lot of friends.

It also means that people find you likable and what that means to you is that first of all you have social proof on your channel. Social proof just means the approval of other people, and is a great way to attract others to your channel. If someone visiting your channel sees you have a lot of YouTube friends they're much more likely to also be your friend and therefore increase your popularity.

The other massive advantage of having YouTube friends is when you create a new video you can let all your friends know by sending out a quick message. Sure, not everyone is going to tell all their friends about it, but if you have enough friends you're going to get some serious extra traffic out of it.

YouTube Subscribers

When someone becomes your YouTube subscriber, they're going one step further than being your YouTube friend. It's like they're giving your YouTube channel the ultimate accolade as they've moved from friend to subscriber.

As a subscriber there's a few things that happen, to make it more valuable than having someone just as a YouTube friend.

Firstly, now whenever you create a video, all your subscribers are automatically notified by YouTube via email. It's as though YouTube have set up a free autoresponder account for you!

Secondly, when you've got a big list of subscribers, it's one of the main things that YouTube looks for when deciding which videos to feature, if they want you to become a YouTube partner and even where your video appears in the search engine rankings. Don't forget that YouTube are owned by Google!

So don't think that you just want people to comment and click on your links. You can take it further than that to enable you to get far more traffic. First of all get people to be your friend. There are automation tools available to do this. Then once you have friends you then want them to become a subscriber. YouTube doesn't go so far as allowing subscribers to be automated, but you can always create a video showing how to become a subscriber and let all your friends know!

Cost Effective YouTube Channel Marketing Strategies to Boost Your Online Marketing Results

Nielson Net Ratings reported in 2008 that YouTube has over 68 million unique visitors per month and has the 6th largest visitor audience in the U.S. (ahead of eBay, Amazon and Wikipedia). More than 2/3 of the U.S. population over the age of 25 has watched a YouTube video and 91% of users have purchased something online. YouTube represents a very powerful marketing channel and opportunity for exposure on the net.

There are ways to tap into this immense audience with big ad spend, however I will focus on more cost effective "organic" tactics. These require time but not a direct cash outlay. For the purposes of this article, I will assume that you have already created a branded YouTube channel and are now looking for ways to leverage your channel, broaden your reach and increase your subscriber base. (If you are new to YouTube and have not yet built your channel, the YouTube help center is a great place to start.)

The first step in maximizing the effectiveness of your YouTube channel is to take a step back and examine your purpose for marketing on YouTube. Is it traffic, distribution, brand? Once you have established a firm purpose, you can begin to put together a targeted plan of attack. Your channel design should reflect your purpose and it is necessary to regularly to take a look at your layout, logo, images and profile information. Make sure your design adequately reflects your brand and message. Think of your YouTube channel as an extension of your website; therefore, it should closely resemble the look and feel of your website and other business materials.

Include information in your profile that describes the type of content that can be found in your channel and website. Further, make sure that you link to your website and include your contact information outside of YouTube. Further, make it known in your profile that you would like users to add comments, rate, share, add video responses and to subscribe to your channel.

When adding video content to your channel, make sure that each video has a clear message and is not obscure and confusing. Keep your content fresh and upload a steady supply of 1 to 2 new videos per week on the same schedule so your subscribers know when to expect new content. Further, update the featured videos frequently. You have the opportunity to feature nine videos on your channel and can control the order and placement of your featured videos. Further, use the playlist feature as a way to organize your videos. Building out playlists by subject matter will help users and subscribers find videos that they are looking for as well as expose them to content that they might not otherwise see.

Also, pay attention to the quality of your videos. YouTube has the capability of displaying videos at a higher quality level. The quality of the uploaded video combined with the individual viewers' bandwidth will determine if the video is displayed at higher quality. Higher quality video means improved sharpness and visual clarity. The difference is especially noticeable in videos that contain text or fast movement and in full-screen mode. When uploading a video make sure your video resolution is 480 x360 or higher and a frame rate of 24fps (frames per second) or higher.

Each time that you upload a new video, pay specific attention to the types of videos that have done well in the past as well as VSEO (video search engine optimization). Copy the format and subject of videos that have a lot of views, comments and ratings to try to re-create the success. Include specific keywords in the title that people will be searching for in YouTube as well as external search engines. Further, make sure that your description is keyword rich, specific and give credit to participants who appear in the video (same applies to location). This way people who do not know the title of your video can search by the participant's name or location and your video will come up in the search results. I would also recommend placing your video in the proper, relevant category (contrary to the belief that you can manipulate views by placing your video in a different category). If you are trying to drive traffic from YouTube to your website, include the link to your website at the top of your video description so the link will appear directly below your video title.

Another effective tactic that you can use when uploading new videos to your channel is to use the video annotation feature. Video annotations are a new way that you can add interactive commentary to your videos. You control what the annotations say, where they appear on the video, and when they appear and disappear. The annotations appear like pop up word balloons (text boxes) as well as onscreen overlays. You can even link from an annotation to another YouTube video, channel, or search result. Annotations are effective in keeping users engaged by linking to your other videos and channels so that they stay focused on your content.

After you have tweaked your channel design, message, organization, video frequency, video SEO and site links, you are ready to increase your subscriber base. The key to successful marketing in YouTube is a large subscriber base. Subscribers will serve as evangelists for your content and they validate your purpose. They increase your view count, rate your videos, comment, add you to their favorites, share with their friends and ultimately increase traffic and exposure to your website/brand. In addition, content submitted by a channel with higher subscriber and friend counts is given more weight when it comes to video rank and popularity.

YouTube has built their engine in a way so that subscribers have to be earned. In order to ask someone to subscribe to your channel, you first have to invite them to become a friend. Once they have accepted your friend invitation, then you can invite them to subscribe to your channel. The key is to invite as many people as possible to become friends. To find these potential friends, stick to the popular channels; these people tend to be the most active on YouTube.

Further, participating in the groups feature is another great way to find friends and increase exposure. Joining groups is an effective way to get in front of people who are interested in certain subjects and ideas, which ultimately can lead to more friends and subscribers. It is also very easy to create a new group in YouTube to attract like-minded users. If you create a new group, make sure it is open and an invitation is not required to subscribe.

Now that you have added as many friends as possible, you can begin to use the share feature. The share feature allows you to notify subscribers and friends each time a new video is uploaded. This share functionality is very handy because it allows you to target specific groups (think marketing silos). For example, you can share with subscribers, friends and people who have received a friend invitation but have not yet accepted or subscribed.

Another feature that is useful once you build your friend base is the bulletin feature. Bulletins are used to broadcast messages and once posted, messages are sent out to all channel contacts. Your contact list includes other users on the site to whom you're linked through friend invitations as well as the emails of friends which whom you've shared videos. You can also create special contact lists by using a label to describe the common theme of that list. You can then place specific contacts into different contact lists and send messages to multiple friends at once.

Because of YouTube's relevance in the online video space, friends and subscribers should be communicated to on a regular basis. Whether it is through a bulletin, sharing new videos or direct communication, treat these contacts like they are an important part of your business. Remember to respect their privacy and treat them in a similar fashion to your opt-in email list. Remember people who subscribe to your channel are interested in your videos but not your spam so walk a fine line.

If you are using YouTube as a way to drive traffic to your website to increase sales volume, think about the extra steps that you might need to implement on your site to convert YouTube visitors to sales. Whether it is landing pages, a customized message, pricing or any other strategy that will help convert visitors to paying customers, it is worthwhile to test, test, and test until you get it right.

Next I will outline specific tactics that you can implement to increase activity within your channel and your videos. Being an active participant in the YouTube community will go a long way. Networking can make all the difference in the world when it comes to being relevant or not. Earlier I mentioned participating in groups and this definitely falls into the networking category. Here are some additional networking tactics that are worthwhile to implement:

o Search for popular videos that are relevant to your area of expertise and post video responses. Video responses are not widely used and there is a strong possibility that your video response will end up high in the results. The key to remember is that your video can only be used as a response once.

o You can also post video responses to your own videos.

o Watch other people's videos and comment on them. Keep your comments brief, respectful and on topic.

o You can also comment on your own videos to get the conversation going.

o Mark other user videos as your favorites. This will more than likely get their attention and show that you are participating in the YouTube community.

o Take part in the contests that are running on YouTube. This is another great way to get your content and channel noticed.

o Add your most popular YouTube videos to video search engines and video distribution sites.

o Promote your YouTube channel on your other online outlets such as your blog, Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.

YouTube is a factor to be reckoned with; the statistic most telling is the fact that 10 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute. If you implement all or some of the above outlined strategies, you will most definitely see an uptick in your YouTube channel results. Like any other organically grown marketing strategy, it takes time and patience before you see measurable results. Hang in there and know that this is a process that is worthwhile and will pay off in the long run.

How to Create YouTube Videos That Boost Affiliate Sales

If you are into affiliate marketing, you must already know that merely setting up a website and posting articles are not going to get you the traffic and revenue you dream of. An oft-overlooked technique is to create YouTube videos that bring traffic to your website. The real challenge to your online marketing success lies in thinking out-of-the-box and discovering new ways to market your website.

The latest trend in the affiliate marketing industry is to create YouTube videos that floor your prospects and customers into buying your products right away. I'm not talking about boring PowerPoint presentations converted into videos, but brilliant, streaming screen-capture videos with great audio. And you can do all this from the comfort of your own home, in less than 30 minutes. Yes, I do mean YOU and not any third-party 'professional' video expert!

While there are many great video-creating software out there, I personally prefer Camtasia, because it is something I have tried and tested and found to be incredibly useful. The biggest advantage in using a video software like this is that you don't need prior training or any technical knowledge (other than how to use your computer, of course!). It is simple to understand and easy to execute. You can create YouTube videos that act as tutorials or step-by-step presentations about the product you are promoting. In addition, the videos you create are visually stunning and are of high quality.

Why Should An Affiliate Marketer Create YouTube Videos?

It is a proven fact that visually appealing multimedia help increase sales. This is because all the senses of the customer are appeased and it adds credibility to your affiliate product or program.
When you create YouTube videos that demonstrate how to use a specific product, it decreases the chances of the customer complaining about the product in the future or asking for a refund.
Killer YouTube videos are a great way to promote your affiliate products. Dangle some juicy information before the customers and add a redirect at the end of the video to your affiliate website. This will make them visit your website, thereby improving your chances of making a sale.
YouTube videos are also a great way to give your customers a "feel" for the product. This is especially beneficial in online auction bids. It is a fact that auctions with pictures increase the bidding percentage by 400%. Can you imagine the boost in bidding percentages when you include videos to the auction? It has to be tried to be believed!
You can also create amazing info products with stunning graphics and templates. This will give you a chance to justify a higher price for your product.
The last, but most compelling reason to create YouTube videos for your affiliate products or services is that they reduce miscommunication with customers. When you display the product and its features visually, the customer understands it better and can make an informed decision on whether the product is right for them or not.

Here are some ways to create YouTube videos that explode your affiliate sales, using Camtasia:

Record your desktop screen/activity with just a single click.
Convert any number of videos recorded into web pages. The advantage is you can direct your customers to the webpage, where they can listen and view your product in action...this is a very compelling sales technique as it really grabs the customer's attention.
You can also upload and publish these pages to your blogs, podcasts, RSS feeds, etc. This is a sure-fire way to spread the word online about your website or product and can be a great advertising strategy to generate traffic and revenue.

Of course, there are many more useful features in this software program that can help you create stunning visual imagery and truly mind-blowing tutorials and presentations.

Just remember that the primary goal of creating YouTube videos is to drive traffic to your affiliate website and explode your profits. But, do you know how to make your YouTube videos work for your business? I know just the right person to help you make money off YouTube..

Now that you know how to create YouTube videos, it is time to make Money From YouTube. Find out how you can make YouTube videos explode your affiliate sales.

How and Why You Should Market Your YouTube Videos

Do you enjoy uploading videos that you made to the YouTube website? If so, you may be pleased with all of the traffic that you get. You Tube is known to get thousands of visitors a day. For you, this means that your videos may be watched by thousands of people or more! As much traffic as YouTube brings you and your videos, you may be looking for more. If you are, you will want to examine other ways to market your YouTube videos. Just a few of the many marketing approaches that you can take are outlined below.

Perhaps, the easiest way to market your videos is to let friends, family members, or coworkers know that you have videos available for viewing on YouTube. For the best chance of success, you are advised to email the direct links for your videos to those that you know. If you just happen to mention having your videos on YouTube to a friend in passing, let them know what your videos are about or what your screen name is. YouTube allows site visitors to browse through all of their videos or search for something in particular, like one of your videos.

Another one of the many ways that you can market your video is by having any of your videos appear on any websites or blogs that you have. What is nice about YouTube is that you can easily get a few HTML codes. Those codes will enable you or any other internet users to post a video online. It is not uncommon for bloggers to insert a YouTube video in their blog, by using generated HTML codes. It is advised that you post your own YouTube videos on your own websites, but if you know of anyone else who has a blog, you may want to think about giving them the needed HTML codes to have your YouTube video appear on their blog. In most cases, you will find that even strangers are willing to do so, as long as your video is connected, in one way or another, to their blog or website.

You can also market your YouTube videos on online message boards. Online message board marketing can be done two different ways. For instance, there are a large number of online message boards that let you discuss of share anything, in general, with other board members. You may want to think about posting links to some of your YouTube videos, especially if you think the other members would enjoy watching them. If you belong to an online message board or forum that allows you to have a signature, you will want to look into doing so. Your signature will always appear at the end of each of your messages; therefore, the more active you are online, the more exposure your YouTube videos are likely to get.

Now that you know a few ways that you can go about marketing your videos to other internet users, you may be wondering exactly why you should. As it was mentioned above, YouTube, alone, is likely to generate thousands of viewers for your videos. If you are looking for more views, whether just to increase your online popularity or to help you get new clients, if you connect your videos to your business somehow, you will want to take the time to market your videos. What is nice is that you have a number of different methods available, including the three mentioned above, and most are free. In fact, marketing your YouTube videos to other internet users isn't only free, but it is easy to. Many marketing tactics will only take up a few minutes of your time, if even that.

The decision as to whether or not you want further market your YouTube videos is yours to make. If you find yourself unsatisfied or unhappy with your current viewer ship, you may want to think about doing a little bit of your own marketing.

YouTube Goes Global, but Ad Revenues Still Not Good

DOWNLOAD VIRAL VIDEOS IN JAPANESE AND FRENCH!

YouTube recently announced that web site users in Brazil, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Spain and Great Britain will now have the ability to visit YouTube locally and get all the information regarding the YouTube videos in their native languages. The chief financial officer of YouTube, Steve Chen, stated that these individual countries will now have a local version of YouTube that will allow them to access a central database of videos as well as show them how their own country is ranking certain videos as opposed to the American version of video-ranking.

150 content partners have already been contacted by YouTube so that they will be able to supply YouTube with various sports and entertainment clips from various companies such as the BBC, France 24 and the Real Madrid Spanish soccer team. This new international touch to YouTube was made possible when Google bought the video-sharing behemoth in November of 2006. Google had the financial backing and resources that allowed such an international transaction to take place.

MORE AD REVENUE MUST BE FOUND TO BRING YOUTUBE INTO THE BLACK

Without a clear ad revenue structure that YouTube is in desperate need of to ensure great financial rewards after Google paid $1.6 billion for the site back in 2006. That is a very heft bill that Google must somehow find a way to recover within the next few years, or this will always be the fly in the ointment as far as Google's huge success goes.

Most analysts agree that Google bought YouTube to help them generate more ad revenue internationally not in just a few months, but for the long term, maybe not excpecting to recoup the $1.6 billion for at least eight to ten years. YouTube currently is also embroiled in a massive lawsuit brought on by the entertainment industry who insists that users who upload copyrighted material should be penalized at best and put in jail at the worst, and YouTube should take take all copyrighted material immediately.

VIACOM NOT AMUSED AT YOUTUBE ANTICS

The main entertainment lawsuit involves Viacom, who own MTV and Comedy Central, among other televison production companies. They believe that when YouTube subscribers upload episodes of South Park and the Daily Show, YouTube should automatically shut down the video feed so that no one will be able to see these episodes for free.

YouTube contends that there is already in place a database software engine that can discern copyrighted material from non-copyrighted material and they have set aside more than $200 million for legal fees to fight Viacom's $1 billion lawsuit. This is certainly not a time for the owners of YouTube to be rejoicing in celebration of international success as this legal fight will take some time to recover from. YouTube is also facing Europe's more rigorous terrain when it comes to regulating videos in international waters as well.

This more scrutinezed look at YouTube's copyrighted material from the European government does not bode well for YouTube's future success.

High School Students - Why You Must Display Caution When Using YouTube

Are you a high school student who enjoys using YouTube? You might not only enjoy watching videos on YouTube, but you may also like to make and share your own videos. Even if you are in high school, you can do so with YouTube, as they allow those thirteen and older to share their videos. While this can be fun to do, you need to display some caution when making your videos.

Display caution when making your YouTube videos? If you are wondering why you need to do so, aside from the obvious safety concerns, you might be wondering why all the worry. What you may not realize is that your online content, including your YouTube videos, may be watched by those who are associated with your school. Those views may come from your friends, other classmates, or even school officials. That is why it is extremely important that you thoroughly examine your video content and make sure that no harm can come to you later on.

When it comes to YouTube video content that you should avoid, particularly if you are a high school student, the most obvious is illegal activities. You do not want to have video of yourself or your friends drinking underage, doing drugs, or committing another crime, no matter how minor it may seem. As it was previously mentioned, you never really know who will come across your videos. With the way that high schools and gossip works today, if one of your classmates found a video of yours on YouTube it is likely that they wouldn't keep that video to themselves; they will almost always share it with others that they know.

Another type of video content that you may want to avoid is content that is offensive to other students at your school. This type of content most commonly comes up in video blogs. Many internet users use video blogs to vent their frustrations or talk about their day. If you are a high school student, there is a good chance that you may want to discuss school, your friends, or your classmates. While this is more than possible to do, you will want to refrain from sounding too negative or even threatening. Although you may just be joking, "I'm so mad I could kill her," could be taken out of context by someone viewing your YouTube video, whether it is a video blog or not.

As it was previously mentioned, one of the many individuals who could end up viewing your YouTube videos are your classmates or even school officials. While we would all like to believe that our classmates are cool, not all of them are. Should one of your classmates find a video on YouTube that they found offensive or poor in taste, they may report it to your school. Speaking of your school, your school officials may even come across your YouTube videos, as many schools are now using the internet, namely social networking sites, to monitor their students and their activities. Having illegal activities documented in your YouTube videos could spell trouble for you, in more ways than one.

When it comes to YouTube videos with illegal activities or threats documented in them, the consequences that you suffer, if any, will all depend on the school district in question. It is not uncommon for school districts to suspend students that they find doing illegal activities, even if those activities were not committed on school properties. Should you participate in extra circular activities, including sports, you have find yourself suspended from all sports teams or other school sponsored organizations, temporarily or even permanently. In serious situations, like where threats against other students have been documented, it is not uncommon for the authorities to be contacted.

As you can see, there are serious consequences to not thinking before making and sharing your videos on YouTube. All high school students, including you, are urged to think about your future, before using YouTube as a source of fun entertainment.

So, if your reviewing the latest mobile internet technology or using YouTube video marketing to promote yourself, just be mindful of the impact your YouTube video can have.

Are You Realy Going to Find New Orthodontic Patients on YouTube?

Hello, I'm Brian Devine, your online marketing consultant and we are here for question #10. This question is about YouTube, and the question that I do get quite often is, "Am I really going to find new patients on YouTube?" I like this question for lots of reasons, but first because it's thinking about YouTube in a very narrow way.

So if you were able to put a video on YouTube and somebody who was looking for orthodontics in your area happened to look up orthodontics, put in your area, found your video on YouTube, and thought, "This is the place for me, " that would be pretty impressive. It does not happen very often. So, no. Are you going to find a lot of new patients by putting up a video on YouTube? Probably not.

But that's not the power of what we have here with YouTube. It's not about YouTube helping you find new patients, it's about YouTube helping your search engine results and helping people understand more about what you do through video.

I want you to shift that thought pattern a little bit. When you put videos on YouTube, hopefully you've done all the right things to set up your account and optimize it for you as an orthodontist.

Then, when you upload your videos, you're optimizing the video for the specific keywords that you want to target, meaning those are the words you want to make sure you show up on online, and you are putting links back to your website on your YouTube page and on your video so it's on what's called the lower third of your video kind of like what you've seen on all of our videos.

What happens is, when you consistently put those videos up and people start looking at them and you can just go look at them yourself, tell people that you've got a new video on YouTube. What can start to happen is that if you've optimized them correctly (most people don't really get this, they don't understand how this optimization for YouTube works) what happens is, when somebody goes to Google, Yahoo!, bing, what have you, whatever search engine they're on, and they type in that keyword phrase that you've targeted with all of these videos, your videos are going to show up in the search engine results.

So if your website has done all the right things and it's showing up, that could be anywhere from page one, maybe one through ten. Hopefully you made it into the top three, and then your video shows up, so there you are with these videos.

And maybe two or three of your videos have shown up because you've really done a good job of getting those keywords and tags up there. And then maybe your blog shows up with video on it from YouTube. All of these sources are pointing back to your website. So more often than not, your website will be above these.

If you haven't had a chance, go over to my blog and watch the video on video marketing search engine results. What I'm showing is that in just a matter of weeks, utilizing videos on YouTube and several other searchable sites, I was able to move my website up onto page one of Google. In a matter of weeks, I got three different spots. We can do that for you as well.

How do we do it? Well, we start getting video on YouTube. We start getting video all over the place, including your website. It's not just about the video convincing someone to take some action, it's about the video helping you get found, getting you exposed, so that when someone is looking for orthodontists in your area, and you can cover that front page, you are the one they would consider as the expert to talk to first.

I firmly believe that if you can be the first person that people want to talk to, and then you do everything right in the practice and you understand persuasion, you understand how to help people make the right decision when it comes to moving forward with orthodontic treatment, then you will have all kinds of new patients. You will never have to worry about how you're going to pay the bills, or any slowdown in the economy because you're going to be continuously having patients come in from multiple sources.

I hope this has given you some really good insight and some food for thought. Start setting up your video sites like YouTube today.

YouTube Video Converter - How to Convert FLV to iPhone, iPod, MP4, AVI, MPEG

YouTube must be the famous video share website. As it does not provide downloading till now, we have to enjoy the video online. But there are many YouTube downloaders on the Internet, online downloader or free YouTube downloader. You can easily find them by Google.

But there are so many reasons you are not willing to choose the online YouTube downloader:

1. Online YouTube video downloader always has many advertisements, pop up windows, it makes us crazy.

2. Error. Some websites always gives the result that they can not find the URL.

3. Can not see the download progress and the size of the YouTube video files.

Billons of people watch YouTube everyday, but only few of them can enjoy them off line. But the situation is: We are not satisfied with only download the videos, we need play them even play them on iPod, iPhone, Zune and PSP.

Then we need a YouTube download and a YouTube player and a YouTube converter. There are too many tools we need download or buy. In my opinion, I recommend Cucusoft YouTube Mate for the next reasons.

1 Cucusoft is a famous producer as I know, its' products were recommended on many download websites.

2 Cucusoft YouTube Mate includes a Free YouTube video downloader. If you only need a downloader, you won't worry about the spyware or adware of this software.

3 Supports the basic formats of the video files you can convert to.

By the way, there are some advices when you choose a video converter not only YouTube Video Converter:

1 Easy to use: As a beginner, easy to handle is always the basic request of a video converter. You won't want to find the converter button for minutes.

2 Speed: A good video converter should take seconds or minutes, but too it shouldn't too slow.

3 Quality: Some freeware can convert the video too, but the quality is really bad.

YouTube SEO - 5 Step Formula To Dominate YouTube and Google With Video SEO

"YouTube SEO" - In this article we discuss YouTube SEO and Video Optimization -- how to optimise your YouTube videos and your YouTube channel. You can expect to get a lot of traffic from YouTube and Google is you optimise correctly and what I want to do in this video is show you my 5 Step Formula I use whenever I create a video to enable me to get a lot more views, to be shared and "go viral" and also get a lot more traffic back to my website.

Now the first step is KEYWORDS. Now, there is a lot of software out there to help, something I use on a regular basis is the Google Keyword Tool -- just Google it and you'll find it. You can then work out what keywords you want to target -- keywords that are relevant and profitable (not fr*ee tips for example). So work out what your keywords are that are going to help you target those because that's what's going to help you get a ton of traffic. The tip here is to choose a keyword that has low competition and high search volume. That's really important as that's going to help you rank on the first page of Google and on the first page of YouTube.

The 2nd step is about creating real high-quality CONTENT. So what you're creating your videos think about your best and most valuable tips that you can give to people because you're much more likely to be shared then. Video is much more likely to go viral as people share video and as a result if you can share some awesome tips on what you're discussing, people will share it with people they know and as a result you start getting a lot more traffic as well. So this is another great tip -- make sure the quality of the content is always top notch.

Next, make sure you're always building your COMMUNITY. The more subscribers and friends you have on YouTube, the better your YouTube Channel will be ranked. YouTube and Google are really looking for this and when your YouTube Channel page rank goes up, all of your video rankings will go up too. This means you can create just one subsequent video, optimise it just for the keywords and you're immediately get straight to the top of YouTube as YouTube will get to trust you for the high quality content and that's what they are looking for. YouTube are not necessarily looking for the longevity of anyone's content, they are looking for fresh content. And this is what's really useful for you and I -- when we create a video we can expect to be on the first page of Google and YouTube (see the proof), especially when we've targeted the keywords correctly. That's really important -- always make sure you're building your community.

Next... BACK LINKS. Now, we're talking about "do follow" back links and this is where we get other websites to embed our videos or talk about you and create content that links back to our 'stuff'. If you can get the anchor text (the words within the copy that are active links back to our information), to be our keywords and linked back to your VIDEO... Something that people rarely do -- if you can get those back links back to your channel or video, that's going to be really helpful for your Channel page rank and again your videos will go up the search page rankings again -- both on the first page of Google and the first page of YouTube. Really clever, powerful and a little sneaky! So make sure you implement that tactic!

Final step? REGULAR videos. A lot of people think, "Well if I create a load of videos all on 1 day and upload them all on 1 day that will be great!" - this is not a good strategy. What you want to do instead is leak it out over time -- instead of releasing your videos all on one day, just make sure you release one video one day and another video the next day and keep it regular. The reason being is because YouTube look at you as a Channel. Your viewers are actual people (yes, I know!) and people don't want loads of content all on 1 day -- you want to be trickling it out on a regular basis because this is what's going to be much more enjoyable and much more engaging for your viewers.

So, that's the 5 strategies -- make sure you've got your KEYWORDS sorted, make sure you're creating quality CONTENT, make sure you're constantly building your COMMUNITY, getting BACK LINKS and bringing out REGULAR content. These are 5 tips that are really useful for you if you're looking to create videos that go straight to the top of YouTube and Google. This will definitely help you get a lot more views, get a lot more traffic and as a result become a lot more successful.

I hope you've enjoyed this video and if you want to get more tips and videos just like these, then go to my website and you'll be able to get your hands on loads of strategies to ensure your video marketing strategies are maximized.

YouTube Ninja Marketing

YouTube is as popular as Facebook or Twitter, and people log on to their website almost everyday. It is one of the best ways to market your product, service or company because first of all, it is free. And second, it is the best way to show off your product or service because of the freedom that displaying videos provides.

So how do you maximize YouTube as a marketing tool? Here are a few tips.

Each YouTube account is given a profile page. Here you can add a profile photo and enter short information about your company, product or service. Make sure that your profile photo is interesting, be it your company logo, a product shot or a photo that you have used in a current and existing print ad. Make your "about you" info complete yet succinct.

Add "friends" to your YouTube account by informing your existing customers on your email or SMS database of you newly created YouTube account. That way, they can subscribe to your video updates, wherein they will be notified via e-mail of every new video that you post.

In line with this, it is important to make your videos short yet informative. Do not make them look like TV commercials. The best way to promote your product is via videos of testimonials or getting footage showing people actually using your product or service and getting good results with it. Do not make the videos look to canned, or people will get turned off. At the same time, these videos still have to look professionally made.

People can post ratings and comments on your videos. Make sure you monitor these comments and ratings closely. Some people tend to put negative comments or ratings, which of course have to be addressed by your company in order for it to learn from them. However, keeping them on your page will make people doubt the benefits of patronizing your company. So delete them right away, but contact the angry user in order to keep good customer relations.

YouTube also has a tool wherein you can "share" every video that you post with everyone even if they are not on YouTube. When you press the share video button, you can input addresses and YouTube user accounts that you would like to inform of your new video posting. This will reinforce your presence on YouTube even further and this will guarantee that more people will watch your videos in case the people you have previously contacted on your database did not subscribe to your YouTube page.

Maximize all the other free sites that are used for Miami Internet marketing today by interconnecting your YouTube page with your Facebook and Twitter accounts. Update your Facebook and Twitter status updates and posts with YouTube videos, so that users on either social networking platform can click on the video thumbnails, wherein they will get redirected to your YouTube video page.

Make sure you constantly update your videos. Having old videos on your user page will make you look outdated and it might even turn some people off as it will seem like no one is taking care of your marketing. Old videos must be deleted or reposted in order to look fresh again.

Make sure you also tag your videos properly. This ensures that when people type in a certain keyword say for, dandruff shampoo, your brand of dandruff shampoo will come out in the list or results on the YouTube database.

A Simple Way to Make Money Using YouTube

YouTube is one of the most visited sites in the world and it also act as second biggest search engine. And that means lots of opportunities. You can take advantage of YouTube's popularity and make money. Here is a simple yet powerful step by step guide for making money using YouTube.

This method is all about going local, though when you master this method you can take it to the next level and go national as well. But if you wanna get your share of YouTube money quickly, focus on your local area. Usually ranking locally for a keyword is much easier, and that is why this method works best with local businesses. We will use YouTube videos to rank well for the keyword since YouTube videos are hot and rank easily for their keywords. Here is what you need to do to make money with YouTube:

Find a local Business

The first step of making money with YouTube is to find a local business. It doesn't matter what kind of business, it could be a restaurant, car repair shop, hair salon, bar, thrift store or whatever. But, this method works best with businesses that can be best presented visually. For this guide lets assume you choose a local bar.

Make a video of the business

Go to the bar owner and tell him or her that you would make a free advertising video for the bar and upload it on YouTube, which will help him gain more business, IF he lets you shoot a short video of his bar. Most local businesses will have no problem with that. In fact they will be happy to let you advertise their business for free.

Take your camcorder and shoot a short video of the bar and what its all about. Be creative, you want to make it as interesting as possible. Maybe ask the owner about any special event they may have, like a karaoke night or free beer for ladies night or what have you and plan to shoot your video that night to capture how people are having fun and are happy and blah blah blah. Remember, you want to make people want to come to this place.

But what if you don't have a camcorder or cant shoot a video for some reason? No worries, you can simply take a few photographs of the bar and the crowd. Capture what you can about this place in a few pictures. Keep it simple and short.

Make a slide show

Use a free tool like Animoto to turn your photos into a professional video slide show. You can also use this tool to enhance your video (if you were able to shoot video) and make it more professional. you can add music, headlines and etc. This free tool lets you crate professional looking slide shows easily. You don't have to be a geek to work with this thing.

Important: Don't forget to place your name, website, phone number or any other info in the beginning and at the end of the video, This is how people can find you if they want a similar video made for their business. This is how you will be making your money!

Upload your video to YouTube

Now, take your video/slide show and upload it to YouTube. After all, the question was how to make money on YouTube! To get the most out of your YouTube video, use rich keywords that describes the video, like local bars in Chicago, best local bar in Chicago, bar in Chicago,...

Next, write a very descriptive summary of the bar and what it is all about. Simply write a review of the bar and link to the bar's website, twitter page, Facebook Page and etc. Most businesses have a website and a page on most big social networking sites these days. If your targeted bar doesn't have it, you just found another opportunity to make some money, offer to create a simple website or Facebook fan page or what have you. But that requires another article. Lets focus back on what we were doing.

Build a few backlinks to your video

Just like many other money making methods that are promoted online, making money with YouTube require a little bit of link building. Though, in most cases you don't have to do much. As I said, ranking locally is pretty easy. So, your video with good keywords and description will likely rank high for its keywords. But, to be on the safe side, you can build a few backlinks to the video to help it rank higher. All you have to do is write a few articles related to bars and include a link pointing back to your video (of course with your keyword as anchor text) and submit to a few top article directories. You can also upload your video to other video sites as well.

Competitors keep an eye on each other

This is all based on one very important fact, competitors always keep an eye on each other. So, pretty soon your video will be seen by other local bars. And as any sane competitor would want to do, they would want to be the one on that video. That's where your business info in the beginning and at the end of your video comes to play.

You have got clients

Prepare to receive calls from local bars wanting to pay you to make a video for them to help them promote their business. It really is that simple. Don't make it complicated for yourself, Just do it. You can always add things to it and make changes here and there. You will learn as you go along. The important thing is to get started.

Remember, you don't have to limit yourself to bars, you can use this method for any other local business, as long as you can make a video of it and put it on YouTube.

This is a method I used and still use myself. I work as a flooring installer offline and have my own business. I used this method myself and soon I was getting calls from other floor installers who wanted me to do the same for them (they didn't know I was also the owner of the company being advertised in the video, LOL).

It really can't get any easier than this. Its a straight forward plan that doesn't require money or even any experience and best of all you can start right away. However, it still requires action on your part. You have to really commit yourself and do the work. If you are willing to put enough time and effort into this method, you can easily make money with YouTube.

5 Ways to Market Your Youtube Videos and Get More Website Traffic

If you're currently uploading videos onto Youtube for more potential business or are looking to do so, then this article is just for you. Because inside, you will learn a vast amount of ways to get traffic to your website from using Youtube.

As you already know, Youtube is very popular. In fact, it's so popular, that it's currently ranked one of the top 10 sites on the internet in terms of the amount of internet traffic that it gets. So if you're not marketing on Youtube or are using it ineffectively, you're missing out on a ton of new customers that you could be getting on a daily basis.

But first, let's talk about why you would want to market on Youtube. I'm sure you're heard of the term "social networking" or "social marketing". Well, Youtube is more than a video site - it's a social site - and has a ton of user interaction each and everyday. So if you don't like the idea of social marketing, then Youtube can be your answer, because it is a social networking site.

Since uploading videos to Youtube is a form of social marketing, it only makes sense that one of the easiest ways to get traffic to your website from Youtube is to let your friends and family members know about the Youtube videos that you created. Right?

On Youtube (and social networking sites in general), you can make a lot of friends quickly. A great way to make relevant friends on Youtube is to subscribe to channels of users who create similar videos that you do. Some of these users will in turn subscribe to your Youtube channel just because they want to make new friends also. So when you create a new video, guess what? Your new friends will get a notice that you created a new video!

Oh and by the way, I use the term "Youtube channel" because uploading videos to Youtube is like having your own tv station. Viewers can tune into your channel to see if you have anything new, and can watch whatever you have to offer, and watch it anytime they like. But showing your videos to friends is just one great way to get traffic to your website. Another great way is via classified ads.

There are two great classified ads sites that I use to get traffic to my website, and if you want to make your Youtube videos very popular and get more subscribers to your channel, you will want to link to your videos via classified ad websites.

One great classified ad site that I use is usfreeads.com. It currently costs $9.99/month to post ads on this website but it is definitely worth it. With your $9.99 a month membership, you can post unlimited amounts of classified ads. This means that each time you post a new Youtube video, you can market it via your usfreeads.com account, and get more traffic to your video.

With more traffic, you get more views and more subscribers assuming that your information is awesome. But you don't have to stop at classified ads, you can also market your Youtube video via your blog.

In addition to uploading your videos to Youtube, you can upload your videos to your blog and create something that is called a "video blog" - or vlog. Video blogs are just what they sound like - blogs created out of videos. You will want to do some blogging and pinging to get the search engines to index your content, and also will want to do some RSS marketing to get others to insert your blog content onto their website.

But you don't have to stop here. You can also do some viral marketing. Video's in and of themselves can become viral, but the kind of viral marketing I'm talking about is with free ebooks. You can write ebooks related to your niche, and distribute them around the internet via free ebook directories and article marketing. With the ebook directories, you simply insert information about your ebook, and include the link to your.PDF ebook, and submit your info.

With article marketing, you can write articles about a particular topic and submit them to the article directories. You will want to link to your free ebook page where others can download and read it. You will want to include a short blurb that others can pass it around freely - and not modify its contents. In your free ebook, you should include links to your Youtube videos so that you can get traffic to them, and build your Youtube channel subscribers.

Do you see how easy all of this can be? It's very simple, and once you start doing it yourself, you will see how easy it is too. Good luck on your Youtube marketing efforts, and I wish you the best on your Youtube marketing campaigns.

How to Access YouTube in China - Effective Strategies to Unblock Social Media Sites

Why You Can't Access YouTube in China

If you're currently in China right now for travel or business, you are probably aware that you no longer have access to YouTube and many other social media sites, including Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. YouTube has been usually blocked by many governments for a short amount of time. A recent example of this is not being able to access YouTube in China.

This is a classic example of government censorship. The government blocks these websites and takes away your freedom to information, which many of us take for granted.

So how to you access YouTube in China, as well as Facebook and Twitter? Simple- use a proxy.

Using Proxy Services to Access YouTube in China

However, there are many alternatives to access YouTube in China. One of them is to use proxy servers for blocked sites. Proxies like KProxy and vTunnel do not require you to make any changes to your browser settings.

For these kinds of sites, just type in the blocked website you want to access in the URL box, and the proxy will automatically take you to the site. The problem is that free proxy servers tend to be slow because lots of people use them to make their traffic anonymous. However, many times, free proxies still do not unblock YouTube, Facebook or Twitter.

Be Careful with Certain Proxies that Unblock YouTube in China

Some other proxies require you to download the program, and to enable you to browse the web anonymously and be able to access YouTube in China. These proxies work faster and more efficiently than web proxies. However, most proxy software require money. Personally, I would stay away from these since they may install adware and spyware on your computer.

Proxies like Skydur do have a Lite version that is free. But in the free/lite version only Facebook can be accessed. Some proxy software's like ProXPN may cause you to lose you current internet connection, but still enable you to use their proxy which becomes an inconvenience. Also, with other proxies, the only websites you can access are the ones that you need to unblock.

As an alternative, many families living in China buy and pay for their own personal VPN. These VPNs work fast and are the most efficient, but they do cost money and require a monthly trial.

The Best Proxy Service in China- My Review

A couple of weeks ago, I arrived in China from the US. I wasn't aware that YouTube, Facebook and other social media sites were blocked. I was really annoyed when I couldn't access YouTube in particular since my business required me to watch tutorial videos. Also I wanted to unblock Facebook so I could catch up with my friends back home.

I tried multiple proxies- most of them were worthless. They took forever to load and wouldn't even unblock YouTube. I finally stumbled upon a proxy called SecuriTales, which offered me a free trial BEFORE asking for personal information. I gave it a shot and loved it. It was the only proxy that allowed me to access YouTube in China. The pages loaded really quickly too! I'm excited to watch videos on the web and chat with my friends on Facebook.

Check out the author's section for more information on the service, including how to get an immediate discount after your trial.

Get More YouTube Views - 5 Tips to Getting More YouTube Plays

One of the most popular methods of product promotion used by marketers today is online video, and as everyone knows, YouTube is the best place on the web for doing just that. But the game is in getting more YouTube views, comments and traffic, so here are 5 tips to help you get started.

1. Research your video keywords

You may have the best product in the world, and you may also have a really great video which demonstrates the usefulness of your product. But without traffic, no one will see your masterpiece unless they can find it. If you want to get more YouTube play, you have to target the specific keywords that people are going to use to search for your product or service.

Find out what keywords best describe your product and then include those keywords in the title and description of your video. Once you get your views up, there is a far greater chance some of those users end up following your link and buying your product. For maximum results, place the keyword title as the first thing in your description as a sort of "header tag" before any additional descriptive text.

Never, ever, EVER mislabel the content of your video in a pitch to grab traffic from a high traffic but irrelevant keyword. If you find a high traffic phrase but your video content doesn't match, YouTube will delete your video and possibly your account. Take it from me who learned this the hard way. Don't do it, it's not worth it. You can get more YouTube views and better conversions doing things the right way.

2. Don't build a castle, build an empire - increasing Channel Views

Increasing your popularity among the YouTube general audience is another method to increase traffic and YouTube views. A new YouTube channel generally will not have many people subscribed, so getting plays on your content is an inherent challenge. If you increase your channel views, your YouTube ranking rises. A high ranking brings more organic traffic - people who are looking for your product or service! If you have some money to invest in your business, you can often use it to buy YouTube channel views.

3. Increase YouTube Favorites

On the main page of YouTube you may have noticed the "most favorite" category. If you can get your video into this category by having lots of favorites, then every YouTube viewer who comes to the main page sees your pitch, simple as that. The good news is that just like channel views, favorites can be purchased as well and can obviously be a wise investment.

4. Increase Video Views

To get the most out of your YouTube traffic, you should add videos often, on a schedule and keep them relevant. The more videos you have, the more plays you get, and the more plays you get the higher your channel will rank. As traffic increases, comments will follow which also helps your videos rank better in YouTube and Google.

5. Back links, back links, back links.

Link to your YouTube video from all of the social media outlets. Sites like Facebook, Twitter, Digg, MySpace can provide you with a canvas to create a powerful and relevant backlink. The more back links you have - the more times your video is shared across the internet - by anybody at any time, the higher your video will rank on YouTube and Google search results.

These are some powerful tips from a video marketing genius who was also looking to increase his own traffic using YouTube. The bottom line is this: the more popular your video is, the more popular it will become. The more popular it becomes, the more traffic you will get. The more traffic you get, the more "ka-ching!"

Youtube Phenomenon

If you browse the web, you'll come across many websites that has one or more video clips embedded in it. News websites such as BBC and CNN fall in this category. But, what about a website that has only video clips and nothing else? This is exactly what the Youtube Phenomenon is all about. To those who have not heard about Youtube, it is a video sharing website where one could upload, share, and watch video clips - Youtube videos - for free. It is owned by Google.

Here is a bit history of what all went behind in the making of Youtube.com. Little had the three former PayPal employees - Chad Hurley, Jawed Karim, and Steve Chen - anticipated about the growth and fame Youtube would achieve in less than one year since its inception, when they first planned such a video sharing website. An out-of-the box idea, Youtube.com was launched as an unknown new website on February 15, 2005 with virtually no promotion. The website with its full features become operational few month later; the first preview of the website was offered in May 2005 and its official debut in November the same year. As it had been with many great path breaking projects in the past, the incubation days of Youtube took place in a modest garage in California, much like its present owner's - Google - beginnings, who started their journey from a leased space in a Menlo Park garage in 1998.

The beginnings of Youtube was pretty modest and its creators more than once at least went through a cash crunch as the visitors to the website grew and the need for better infrastructure and technology became inevitable. Irony it may be that the first helping hand they got which had pulled them out of the financial crisis was that of the venture capital firm Sequoia, the very same firm that had funded Google in its early years. Sequoia invested $3.5 million initially in Youtube, the stake which they upped to $8 million few months later, realizing the vast potential Youtube.com has in the fast growing world of infotainment in the near future.

Another development that had immensely helped catapulting Youtube into the forefront of online entertainment industry came from rather unexpected quarters, in the form of new software tool - the Flash Player 8 by Macromedia - that enabled people to view Youtube videos directly from their web browsers without having to download it into their PCs and view it with the help of third party software programs such as Windows Media Player or RealOne Player. In fact, it not only eliminated the need to view downloaded files in third party tools, but also provided a far improved video quality than its predecessor, Flash Player 7. Had it not been for the new Flash Player, the Flash Player 8, it is unlikely that Youtube.com would have taken off this fast, in such a short span of time.

As of today, Youtube.com, under the umbrella of Google, is the fastest growing video website in the globe and the 10th most popular amongst all websites in the cyberspace, according to the latest Alexa ratings. Nearly 100 million video clips from Youtube are seen by netizens daily and around 65,000 new Youtube videos are added every day into the database. The number of netizens visiting Youtube every month is thought to be anywhere near 20 million. No wonder, Youtube.com is described not as a website, but as a phenomenon by market experts.

Slow YouTube Video Loading - How To Resolve Slow YouTube Loadup Times In An Instant

YouTube may be one of the most popular websites for watching videos in the World, but it's continually causing a huge number of problems due to its videos taking a long time to load up. There can be a number of issues leading YouTube videos to take a while to load, but fortunately for us, there are a series of common problems which can continually cause a lot of issues for the videos you wish to watch. This tutorial is going to show you a simple way to resolve the problems you're seeing with slow loading YouTube videos.

What Is Causing The Slow YouTube Video Load Speed?

The problems with your YouTube videos will likely be down to one of these 3 issues:

The "Flash Player" of your PC is damaged
The registry of your computer is not working correctly
Windows has errors
Your web browser is somehow corrupted

The basic cause of the problems is all down to the way in which your PC will be unable to use the files & settings required to load up the necessary functions to play YouTube videos on your system. Whenever you play a YouTube movie on your computer, it will have to first download onto your computer and then be played. Despite this normally working, it's often going to be causing a huge number of problems that will make the videos load up slow.

How To Fix Slow Loading YouTube Videos

The main issue causing the slow loading to occur is all down to the way in which your computer will be unable to actually download the movie from YouTube in the first place. Whenever a movie is "buffering", it basically means that it's downloading onto your PC and will then be played. You first need to ensure the Internet settings of your computer are correct, and that your connection is fast.

If you find the Internet settings of your computer are working correctly, you should then look to fix any potential software issues that your PC may have. It's often the case that registry errors, or problems with the web browsers of your computer, will be preventing the YouTube videos from loading. To fix this, click onto "Start > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs" and then remove the web browser from your PC. After that, restart your system and then re-install it.

Finally, you should also clean out the registry of Windows by using a registry cleaner. The registry is basically a big directory of all the settings your computer will use to run, and is vitally important for the smooth operation of your web browsers. Unfortunately, this database will continually cause a lot of errors, often leading YouTube videos to take much longer to load up. To repair this problem, you need to download a registry cleaner, install it and then let it fix any possible errors your computer may have leading your YouTube videos to be loading up slowly.

What Is YouTube? How To Use It

With today's technology, we have the ability to share videos over the Internet. The most common place to do this is YouTube. YouTube is a video sharing website where users can view and post videos, comment on videos, join groups, etc. Essentially, YouTube is a social network with the ability to view and post videos. YouTube allows paid advertising for businesses, as well as allows businesses to get their names out there for free. There are millions of potential viewers worldwide (over 200 million videos viewed daily) that are able to view your videos. Later, we will discuss what the benefits of being involved with YouTube are for your business and how a certain company's profit grew over 700% with the help of YouTube promotion, but for now let's start with the basics.

Think About Your Video

Let's say the overall goal is to post a video that is going to help promote your business in some way - whether that be by posting a tutorial, a commercial, some tips for your specific business, etc. It is important to remember your main goal and your target audience because you'll need to keep them interested in your video. Remember, this is your chance to get your video and business name out world wide, so it is important to keep the viewer's attention.

How To Set Up Your YouTube Videos

So you are ready to use YouTube. You have all these fantastic videos that you are ready to share with the cyber world, but what is the next step? First and foremost, you want to visit YouTube.com. This is YouTube's website. On the top right corner there is a link titled "Create Account". Follow the steps to create your account and then you will be ready to share away with your videos.

Before attempting to post your videos, remember that there are some requirements each video has to follow in order to be posted on YouTube. The majority of the time, this will not be a problem, with the most important guideline being that the video has to remain under 10 minutes. There are also file size requirements (100MB or less). The following is a beginners guide to uploading a video onto YouTube:

Very first thing you have to do to upload a video is click the "Upload Videos" link. These are located on the top right of the page and are on almost every page on YouTube.

Next you are going to be asked to briefly describe your video. You will first need to enter a title and a description for your video. Keep these simple as people are not going to want to read a long description (they are on a video watching site, not an E-Book site). After the description section there is an area to enter tags for your video. Tags are keywords that will help your video be found based off what the user is searching for. You are going to want to use important words for this section.

Following the tags section you will have to select a category and language to place your video in. It is important to select the correct category and language, as this will also help your video be found to users who are looking for that specific type of content. Finally, click "Go Upload A File". The next page asks if you would like your video to be available to the public, or private. If you are wanting to get your business name out there, you will want to keep this public as this allows the millions of visitors the opportunity to view your video. Next click, "Upload Video". This will bring you to a page to browse your computer for the video you wish to upload. After finding the video, select it and your video will be live within minutes.

Get People To See The Video

The video you just uploaded is a hidden gem among the sea of the internet. Next, we need to get people to find this gem. One very basic way to get people to view your video is to create a link on your business website to your YouTube video, or have your YouTube video embedded on your site itself. With that said, you can also link to any sites (business or social networks) that your business is linked with. Just remember, the more exposure to the video, the better. One great tactic that many businesses use is promoting some sort of contest through their YouTube account. The draw of winning something will bring in more viewers.

YouTube also allows users many great ways to get people to your video. When you initially signed up for YouTube, you created a channel. In other words, if you signed up as "Business 1", there is now a "Business 1 Channel" on YouTube. Having your own channel allows you to create your own playlists. This playlist can consist of videos you upload or videos others have uploaded that you have viewed and want to share with others. Sharing someone else's video may in turn entice them to share your video.

On the same note, underneath all videos (unless this option is turned off) there is a section for commenting. Commenting on other videos is a great tool to promote your business. Keep in mind, this DOES NOT mean to comment on someone's video "Check out my video...". This is spam, and will most likely be deleted. What you want to do is comment on a users video that is related to the topic of your video. Also, you want to keep the comments relevant and not so generic. A comment like "cool video", '"nice job", etc. will not gain you any attention. A comment that is more conversational shows the author that you are paying attention throughout their video as well as reading the comments. This will possibly strike their interest in clicking your username, and therefore being brought to your channel to view your videos. The more you do this, the better the opportunity of getting numerous views is.

There are also the following options on YouTube to help get your video out there: emails/messages, bulletins, chat, and rating. These will help because you will be emailing, posting, and chatting on related topics will prove to be useful because you can get someone's attention who is already interested in the topic your discussing (what your video is about). This will in all likelihood nudge the other users to view your profile/videos. Just as any other social network, the more connections you have, the more the word about your videos and business will get out there.

A YouTube Success Story

As discussed earlier, the main benefit of getting your videos out on YouTube is that it give you the opportunity to "advertise" your business to millions of users, and at the rate of $0. Yes, Free 99. This gives the potential growth of your business an infinite amount. A great example of this is a blender company called Blendtec. Blendtec became an internet sensation, mostly in thanks to YouTube. Blendtec is a company that sells heavy duty blenders. They created a simple, cheap video series (first video cost them $50 total) on YouTube displaying how well their blenders work. The names the series "Will It Blend?" They used their Blendtec blenders to blend random objects such as baseballs, golf balls, glow sticks, cell phones, magnets, etc. Now, this may sound like just a simple idea it was extremely effective. The following are the amount of views a couple of these videos have received: Glow sticks: 6.9 million views, iPhone: 9 million views, golf balls: 5.9 million views, magnets: 2.7 million views, baseball: 1.4 million views. Just these five examples produced 25.9 million views for this blender company. They have many more videos out there (producing over 100 million views), but I think you get the idea. According to CEO Tom Dickinson in his interview with inc.com, the company skyrocketed over 700% in value because of these videos. The interview can be read at: here

As the above example demonstrates, the potential growth for your business due to YouTube video promotion is limitless. It is important to remember that YouTube allows you to promote video for FREE. Target the right audience, come up with interesting, creative videos and stick with it. Use all the tools YouTube provides for you to get that video out. Promote/Embed/Link your video with all that you can. Getting your name out there is the name of the game. Dont believe me? Just ask Tom Dickinson.
